When prom and graduation end, many students wish to continue the fun and camaraderie with their friends. They invite parents to help make these successful and safe events. The after-prom party planning group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the teacher's lounge and the after-grad planning group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the teacher's lounge. For more information, call Carmen at 262-2791.

The Soldotna Spenard Builder's Supply reader-board message is "No one cares how much you know unless they know how much you care"

I think the old adage "It takes a village to raise a child" is still very true today. The same applies for caring for our elderly, needy or infirm.

I also believe it takes an entire community to communicate activities and celebrations one to another. If you have news to share, a celebration you would like to announce, or if you belong to a group that has a project and desire to invite new members, give me a call or send me an e-mail.
