A two-car accident shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday sent four people to the hospital, including an infant.

Elaynea Robinson, 20, crashed her Toyota 4Runner into Robert McAlpine's Jeep Wrangler on Kalifornsky Beach Road just south of Bridge Access after losing control on the icy roads.

Robinson, of Nikiski, was transporting an infant, another passenger and a service dog. McAlpine, 31 of Soldotna, was alone and had to be extricated from the vehicle. Everyone involved was transported to Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.

Troopers did not know the extent of the injuries.
