Stephanie Arbelovsky and James Queen

Stephanie Lee Arbelovsky of Kenai and James Jacob Queen of Nikiski plan to be married Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, in Kenai.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steve and Betsy Arbelovsky of Houston, Texas, formerly of Kenai, and granddaughter of Frank and Ardith Arbelovsky of Kenai. She received a bachelor of science degree in civil and environmental engineering and a master of engineering degree in civil infrastructure systems from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. She recently returned from Istanbul, Turkey, where she was a Fulbright Scholar studying earthquake risks. She is looking for work in Alaska.

The future groom is the son of Don and Judy Queen of Nikiski and grandson of Quindell and Lorraine Queen of Kenai, and Helen Hargis-Coble of Kenai. He has a bachelor of arts degree in liberal studies with a recreation management focus from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. He works for Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) in Nikiski.
