Era Aviation official to speak at Kenai chamber

The Kenai Chamber of Commerce will hold a luncheon on Wednesday at noon at Paradisos Restaurant in Kenai. Mike LeNorman of Era Aviation will be the guest speaker. The meeting is open to the public.

Support group meeting planned

The Tourette Syndrome Support Group will meet on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Kenai Peninsula College in Room 124.

Titus to speak at Historical Society meeting

The Kasilof Historical Society will meet at Tustumena Elementary School on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. A program on historical trails begins at 7 p.m., featuring guest speaker Gary Titus.

Peninsula Writer's Night to showcase area talent

The Third Annual Central Peninsula Writer's Night will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center. Admission is $20 for adults and $5 for students. Refreshments and door prizes are included.

Soldotna Historical Society board to meet

The Soldotna Historical Society will hold a board of directors meeting on Saturday at 10 a.m. at River City Books in Soldotna. The Task Force on the Mission Statement will meet at 9:30 a.m. to finalize its recommendations to the board of directors. The meeting is open to the public.

International dinner planned

The 20th annual AFS student exchange gourmet dinner will be held at 6 p.m. March 12 at Our Lady of the Angles Catholic Church in Kenai.

Tickets are $15 and are available at River City Books in Soldotna, the Kenai Public Library and the Kenai Vision Center.

The dinner raises scholarship funds to help Kenai Peninsula high school students study abroad. AFS is the largest and oldest foreign exchange education program in the world with 128 programs in 44 countries.

The dinner will feature food from five countries and will be followed by entertainment by the exchange students. For more information, call 283-9336. Watershed Forum to sponsor discussion

"Observation of ATV Impacts to Salmon Streams,"

The Kenai Watershed Forum is sponsoring a round-table discussion entitled "Observation of ATV Impacts to Salmon Streams," on March 13, at 7 p.m. in the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association building. Everyone is welcome to attend and join the discussion. For more information, call 260-5449.
