Walk-in registration slated for Mount Marathon

Walk-in registration for Mount Marathon will be held March 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Seward Chamber of Commerce.

Priority registration has already filled up a number of spots in the race. There are 25 spots left in the men's race, 76 spots left in the women's race and 101 spots left in the junior race.

Walk-in registration for the races, especially the men's and women's race, is expected to be busy so be prepared to wait in line. The Seward Chamber of Commerce will allow people to begin lining up for walk-in registration no earlier than 5 p.m. on March 16.

An individual may walk in one adult application. It does not have to be their own.

For more information, contact Marti Garrett, the events coordinator at the chamber of commerce, at 224-8051 or via e-mail at chamber@seward.net.
