Bulldogs split with ACS

Nikiski coasted to a 49-24 Southcentral Conference win against host ACS Saturday at Anchorage Christian School.

The Bulldogs were led by Sarah Herrin's 15 points and Sasha Auldridge's 11.

ACS boys 89, Nikiski 56

Anchorage Christian Schools used an overwhelming first quarter to beat the visiting Bulldogs 89-56 in Southcentral Conference action Saturday at Anchorage Christian School. Travis McGahan led Nikiski with 16 points and Chris Curren added 13.

Lumen Christi girls 32, Nikolaevsk 27

Lumen Christi used a big third quarter to pull away from Nikolaevsk in Peninsula Conference action Saturday at Nikolaevsk.

Nikki Melkomukov led the Warriors with 19.

Nikolaevsk boys 64, Lumen Christi 47

Nikolaevsk received 33 points from Stepan Nikitenko and 21 from Anecta Kalugin to pick up a Peninsula Conference win against visiting Lumen Christi Saturday.

Seward girls 39, ACS 23 ACS boys 63, Seward 44

Seward split a Southcentral Conference contest Friday at Anchorage Christian Schools.

The Seward girls led 12-4 after the first quarter and never looked back. Lara Loomis led the Seahawks with 12 points.

The Seward boys were not as fortunate against the Lions, falling behind early. Coty Beck paced Seward with 18 points.
