KODIAK (AP) -- Residents of Kodiak were jolted awake Wednesday by a moderate earthquake.
The Alaska Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer said the quake, which occurred at 5:21 a.m., had a magnitude of 5.2 and was centered about 45 miles southwest of the city of Kodiak.
The quake was felt in Kodiak but there were no reports of damage or injuries.
