LOS ANGELES (AP) -- ''Jeopardy!'' is holding an open casting call for ''people with an inquisitive nature, creativity and intelligence, lots of enthusiasm and a great on-camera presence'' to become part of the game show's new ''Clue Crew.''

The four-person crew will travel the globe and appear in video clues on the syndicated game show. Members of the team ''may be reading a clue in front of Mount Rushmore or demonstrating how to tie a slipknot on a boat or reporting from the Sundance Film Festival,'' the show's Web site states at http://www.spe.sony.com/tv/shows/jeopardy/clue--crew/index.htm.

Other on-air adventures such as scuba diving, ballroom dancing, hot-air ballooning and swimming with dolphins also are promised.

But ''Jeopardy!'' is keeping mum on how much the job pays.

The application deadline is April 1, and finalists will be selected for auditions to be held in June in Los Angeles.
