Notes: Competition for the sports entertainment dollar in the Atlanta area will be fierce this weekend. In addition to main events by the NASCAR Busch and NASCAR Winston Cup series, the ACC basketball tournament will be staged at the Georgia Dome 23 miles away. Earn hardt won last year's race in one of the closest finishes in Winston Cup history, when he beat Labonte by less than six inches. According to the Neilsen ratings, 13.1 percent of every household in the Atlanta area watched last week's race. That's more than the Duke-North Carolina basketball game, Brazil-United States soccer game and the Knicks-Raptors basketball game combined.
