ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Four people on board a Cessna 208 walked away with no injuries when the plane crashed about 50 miles southeast of Barrow, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
The Cessna, however, received substantial damage in the crash early Thursday morning.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
According to the FAA, the accident occurred after the baggage door opened on approach. A state records database lists the plane's owner as C & R Leasing LLC of Fairbanks. The business could not be reached for comment Thursday.
