Fellowship to host Aleut evangelist

Aleut evangelist Rodger Holmberg will be the guest speaker today at a gathering of the Send the Light Fellowship, the Soldotna-Kenai chapter, that will include worship, praise, special music and testimonies. The event is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 44175 Kalifornsky Beach Road. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 260-3293.

Nikiski church plans events

The Nikiski Church of the Nazarene has several events planned in March.

Today from 7 to 10 p.m., games, food and fun are on tap for the teen spring fever at the church's Fish Factory. Wear your favorite spring outfit (no swimsuits, please).

March 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. there will be a teen Easter egg preparation. Eggs will be filled and decorated.

Sunday school with an Easter egg hunt and family breakfast will be held March 31 at 9 a.m. At 10:45 is the Easter service, and family communion will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

Prophecies topic of speaker

Ruthie Bedwell will be the guest speaker at Bridges in Soldotna Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. Her topic will be the prophecies. For more information, call 260-8044.

Men's community dinner planned

First Baptist Church of Port Nikiski on Island Lake Road will host a men's community dinner March 15 at 6:30 p.m. Men of all ages are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Frank at 252-6058.
