A blizzard warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday around Kachemak Bay.
Snow and strong winds are expected. The 30- to 45-mile per hour gusts will shift west to southwest along the bay Monday evening. Blowing snow will reduce visibility to one-quarter mile or less.
The possible whiteout conditions make travel extremely dangerous and all outdoor activities are strongly discouraged.
Three to four inches of snow are expected in Kenai.
