The life skill of the week is patience which is to wait calmly for someone or something.
Love of Reading Week was held for who students who came to read with the students. Thanks to the volunteers. The staff appreciates Ms. Fischer for organizing the activities and readers each day.
Thursday at 4 p.m. is the final parent informational meeting in the library. New parents must have attended one of the two meetings. The application deadline is Tuesday.
Students are learning about the treasures of sound and will share this unit with families April 12. They made a shaker and a pan pipe in the art studio. Students in science are focused on vibrations and pitch.
Mrs. Shelden's and Mrs. Stroh's classes will try some stomp activities in music, making music using brake drums, plastic pails, barrels, etc.
The third-graders are learning to play the recorder and are making progress.
Order forms were sent home last week and are due Monday for school apparel.
