No school for students Friday. It is the end of third quarter. There will be a Homegoing Dance Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Student of the month luncheon is Tuesday.

The Skills USA club traveled to Anchorage to compete in the Career and Technical Student Organizations Performance Based Assessment Conference. The following awards and honors were awarded: Josh Bennett, first place in job skill demonstration; Rocky Ward,first place in job interview and outstanding student of the year; Dusty Ward, first place in prepared and extemporaneous speech and second place in job interview; Ricky Galley, third place in carpentry; Brad Denesen, Ricky Galley, Josh Bennett, Dusty Ward and Rocky Ward, second place in the Quiz Bowl Team event.

Walt Ward was selected as Advisor of the Year; Dusty Ward was elected state vice president; Ricky Galley was elected state parliamentarian; and Brad Denesen was elected state reporter. The staff would like to congratulate the students who participated in these events.
