The students are learning about the different cultures and traditions in Asia. They will learn simple words and greetings in several Asian languages as well as to use chopsticks. The students also will listen to the different types of music that comes from Asia.

Last week the students had green eggs and ham for lunch in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday.

On March 1 the students counted and rolled the change that was donated to the Tsunami relief effort by the friends and families of the school. The total donations collected was $170 and the school matched that amount for a total donation of $340 for UNICEF.

March is re-enrollment month for families who plan to have their children attend the program next year. Parents can pick up their 2005-06 handbook when they fill out the enrollment contracts and pay registration fees. For more information, call Rachel at 283-0424 or visit
