Soldotna Middle School representatives visited the school Tuesday to speak to sixth-graders about next year. Counselor Cindy Litzenberger and an exploratory teacher came to discuss choices for students.

Congratulations to Tyler Marcuson and Mandy Anglebrandt for being honored for their efforts at the school in our anti-bullying program. Both received movie passes.

The PTA has ordered the formal sign for the school, thanks to fund-raising efforts and donations. The sign will list events at the school and be formally unveiled May 9.

Students in intermediate grades visited the planetarium Friday and learned about constellations and other explorations of the universe as outlined in the KPBSD curriculum. Set up in the gym, the planetarium provided a view of the sky and its relationship to the universe.
