Students raised over $1,800 for the American Heart Association during the Jump Rope for Heart activity. Fourth-grader Reanna Bell was the top individual fund-raiser. Sixth-grader Annita Braun took second place. The class earning the most money was Mrs. Knobf's sixth-grade class. They raised $567 and earned an ice cream party from Mr. Chase.

Fifth-grade parents are remiinded that the D.A.R.E. graduation is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 17 in the multipurpose room. Trooper Larry Erickson will serve as master of ceremonies for the one-hour event. Parents are invited to attend.

Cindy Litzenberger, counselor at Soldotna Middle School will meet with sixth-graders Thursday. This meeting is the initial process in preparing students for transition to the secondary level.
