Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at Immanuel Baptist Church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Clothes available for needy

First Baptist Church’s clothes closet offers clothing for those in need from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays in the garage at 119 Little St., off Binkley in Soldotna. On Saturdays with inclement weather, the clothes closet will be open by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 260-4806.

Matrix to meet

The Matrix Church will meet at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the Triumvirate Theatre at the Peninsula Center Mall in Soldotna. Squirrely Nelson and his prodigal dog, Spot will be the featured lesson. Dramas, skits, music, contests, prizes and drawings also are planned. Food bags will be given away, some with gas cards in them. For more information call 262-7416.

Kids’ night out planned

Lighthouse Community Church hosts Kids’ Night Out from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sundays. Van rides are available. Children in grades kindergarten through six are eligible to attend.

Christ Lutheran Church is offering Lifeshapes and Transforming Truths classes Tuesday mornings and evenings and Wednesday evenings. Various shapes are used as guides for learning, growth, purpose, peace and prayer and improving busy lifestyles.

Soldotna Day Aglow will hold a Bible study called “The Life Changing Power of the Blood of Christ” by Jennifer Dean at 10 a.m. Wednesdays, beginning March 28 at Peninsula Christian Center, behind The Salvation Army in Soldotna. Fellowship and a coffee drawing begins at 9:30 a.m. Child care is provided.

Nikiski Aglow, a women’s Bible study group will host a Beth Moore video Bible study on Daniel at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays, beginning this week downstairs at the Nikiski North Star United Methodist Church.

Art exhibit planned

The Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Sterling is planning its fifth annual Stations of the Cross Art Exhibit. Local artisans will portray events of the “Passion of the Christ.” The exhibit will be open to the public daily beginning April 1, Palm Sunday, until April 8, Easter Sunday.
