Watershed Forum to sponsor discussion

The Kenai Watershed Forum is sponsoring a round-table discussion entitled "Observation of ATV Impacts to Salmon Streams" at 7 p.m. Monday in the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association building on K-Beach Road. Everyone is welcome to attend and join the discussion.

T-ball registration planned

The Kenai Little League is having registration for T-ball and softball. League members will be at Big Kmart from 6 to 8 tonight. Registration will not be accepted without a copy of a birth certificate unless one is on file. For more information, call Lori at 283-3144.

Kenai genealogists meet Saturday

The Kenai Totem Tracers Genealogy Society will host a work and help session on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the conference room of the Kenai Community Library. Mary Bickel will be available to help genealogists in need of advice and guide beginners in tracing their family tree.

Aviation scholarship offered

The Kenai Peninsula Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior interested in pursuing an aviation-related career. Applications have been distributed to high schools and must be returned by March 31. For more information, call Don Ronda at (907) 235-8501.

Builders scholarship available

The Kenai Peninsula Builders Association will award up to three $2,000 scholarships to seniors graduating this year or next. Recipients must be planning to attend an eligible college, university or trade school within the state of Alaska, and must be planning a career in a building-related field.

Applications can be obtained through high school counselors, or by calling 283-8071.

Wild game feast set for Saturday

A free wild game dinner will be served to Eagles Aerie No. 3525 members and guests at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the club.
