This 1953 photo shows a leisurely visit on the Soldotna bridge in early spring. The traffic wasn't too heavy back then. An unidentified woman is speaking with Melvin Tachick, Jake Dubendorf, George Denison, Billy Stock and another unidentified woman. The photo looks north from the Soldotna Visitor Center side of the bridge. On the right is the River Terrace Trailer Court and the grassy bank before it was filled with gravel. This text was written by Marge Mullen and Alan Boraas. The photograph is part of the photograph archives of the Anthropology Lab at Kenai Peninsula College.
