ANCHORAGE (AP) -- The Alaska Board of Game has postponed a discussion on predator control in the McGrath area that was originally scheduled for Monday.
Cathie Harms, a spokeswoman for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, said Sunday that board chairman Mike Fleagle had not yet scheduled a time to take up the issue.
Two board members were asked last week to come up with a specific plan for predator management around McGrath that they would present before the board. Those board members have asked for more time to work on the proposal, Harms said.
The board is meeting at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel through March 17 to discuss proposed changes to hunting and trapping regulations, mainly for the Southcentral region.
