Thrashers score seven times to sweep season series with Bruins

BOSTON -- Andrew Brunette scored a power-play goal with 21 seconds remaining Saturday as the Atlanta Thrashers overcame five Boston power-play goals to win 7-5.

Atlanta swept four games from Boston this season. The Bruins, fighting for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot, lost for the fourth time in the past week.

Devils 3, Flyers 2

PHILADELPHIA -- John Madden scored with 47 seconds left in the third period as New Jersey edged Philadelphia.

The Devils won their seventh straight game and increased their Atlantic Division lead over the Flyers

Red Wings 2, Blues 2

ST. LOUIS -- Brendan Shanahan scored in the final minute of the third period as Detroit tied St. Louis.

Detroit, which has 92 points, maintained its one-point lead over St. Louis in the Central Division.

Stars 3, Avalanche 2, OT

DALLAS -- Brad Lukowich scored with 3:13 left in overtime as Dallas beat Colorado.

The victory was the Stars' first over the Avalanche at home in seven games.

Rangers 3, Senators 2

OTTAWA -- Petr Nedved and Sandy McCarthy scored 1:12 apart as the New York Rangers used a third-period rally to end a four-game losing streak.

Radek Dvorak also scored for the Rangers.

Canadiens 3, Coyotes 3

PHOENIX -- Saku Koivu scored twice as Montreal rallied from a three-goal deficit to tie Phoenix.

Jeremy Roenick, Joe Juneau and Shane Doan scored for Phoenix.

Penguins 6, Flames 3

PITTSBURGH -- Jaromir Jagr scored three times, including the go-ahead goal midway through the third period, and Mario Lemieux had the tying goal as Pittsburgh stormed past Calgary.

Jagr, the NHL scoring leader, had five points to reach 100 for the season -- he also had two assists -- and Lemieux had a goal and three assists to rally the Penguins from a 2-0 deficit.

Lightning 4, Blue Jackets 1

TAMPA, Fla. -- Martin St. Louis scored a pair of power-play goals in the third period as Tampa Bay beat Columbus.

Brian Holzinger scored his first goal in 19 games in the second period and added two assists for Tampa Bay, which has won three straight for the first time since Nov. 3-10.

Canucks 3, Maple Leafs 3

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Mats Sundin scored twice, and Curtis Joseph made 30 saves as Toronto rallied from a three-goal deficit to tie Vancouver.

Predators 3, Sharks 0

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Tomas Vokoun got his fourth career shutout and Scott Walker got credit for a deflection goal as Nashville extended San Jose's winless streak to seven games.

Kings 2, Blackhawks 2

LOS ANGELES -- Chris Herperger scored a short-handed goal and Bob Probert tied it with 3:52 left in regulation as Chicago tied Los Angeles.

Steve Passmore, who began the season as the Kings backup goalie, made 23 saves in his first game since returning to the Blackhawks on Feb. 28.

Scott Thomas and Eric Belanger scored unassisted goals for the Kings, Belanger's coming on a short-handed breakaway with 9:37 remaining.
