Posted: Friday, March 11, 2005

The following letter was submitted by Kathi Overpeck, administrative assistant at the Abundant Life Assembly of God church in Sterling:

The Stafford children and their extended family would like to express sincere gratitude to the many businesses, organizations and individuals in the community for the outpouring of generosity and compassion shown to them during their difficult time of loss.

We appreciate the many meals and/or offers of accommodations that were provided by: Froso's, Jersey Subs, King Salmon Restaurant, Mykel's, Sal's Diner, The Moose Is Loose Bakery, China Sea Restaurant, Paradisos Restaurant, Riverside House, Don Jose's and Soldotna Safeway.

Thank you for giving us the memory of so many kind-hearted deeds.

Danielle, Jaclyn and Travis Stafford
