Clam Gulch resident Jeffrey J. Koelzer died Sunday, March 6, 2011. He was 60.
A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, March 13, 2011, at the Clam Shell Lodge. Potluck dishes are welcome.
Mr. Koelzer was born July 22, 1950, in Fairbanks to Mary Bell and Jerry Koelzer.
His family said: " He was a wonderful, loving husband and friend. He was always there with a helping hand. He was a plumber and jack-of-all-trades. He love spending time with his friends around a bonfire. He loved Alaska and Montana and had many friends in both states. And he loved road trips with friends and family in Alaska and the Lower 48."
Mr. Koelzer was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; son Justin; sisters Gail and Jim Jenson; Karen and George Kamp; Donna Koelzer; Pam and Ron Percy; and brothers Fritz and Vicki, Oscar and Jane; and many friends and family of Clam Gulch and surrounding area.
