Soldotna resident Karen Lynn McDaniel died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna. She was 50.
No services are planned at this time.
Ms. McDaniel was born May 28, 1952, in Marysville, Calif. She was a high school graduate. She moved to Soldotna in 1981 and was a nanny and housekeeper.
She njoyed fishing, making friends and being a good friend.
"She was a loving mother, daughter and sister," her family said.
"She was the best friend I've ever had," her friend Jim added.
Ms. McDaniel was preceded in death by her honorary father, James Howard Webb.
She is survived by her sons, Jason Eddings of Lahaina, Hawaii, and Ronnie McDaniel of Marysville; her mother, Nina Dean Webb of Marysville; sisters, Sharon Ann Sitton of Oroville, Calif., Nina Coker of Towebridge, Calif., Imogene Stewart of Marysville, and Candy Reese of Pollack Pines, Calif.; brothers, Thomas Eddings and James Webb, both of Marysville, and Roy Eddings of Gardnerville, N.Y.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
