ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A moderate earthquake shook the Andreanof Islands region Thursday morning.
The Earthquake Information Center in Fairbanks said the earthquake struck at 7:08 a.m. and had a preliminary magnitude of 5.4. It was centered 140 miles east of Adak and was 16 miles deep, according to the information center.
The quake was felt in Atka.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
