Relationships focus of Aglow meeting

The Soldotna Day Aglow will meet on Thursday at 11 a.m. downstairs at the Soldotna Assembly of God. Nancy Haney will share on "Honesty, foundation for relationships." A potluck will start at 11 a.m., and the speaker will follow. For more information, contact Kim at 776-8041.

Library preschool story time canceled

The Kenai Community Library will not have preschool story time on Thursday or March 23.

Artist to address North Peninsula chamber

The North Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will hold its weekly noon luncheon on Thursday at the Lighthouse Inn. Jim Evenson of Bishop Lake Studio will speak on "Cultural Capital of the Kenai." The public is welcome to attend.

Knowles to address combined chamber meeting

Gov. Tony Knowles, Department of Health and Social Services Commissioner Karen Perdue and Department of Education and Early Development Commissioner Richard Cross will speak to the Kenai and Soldotna chambers of commerce at a Thursday luncheon at Paradisos Restaurant in Kenai.

The meeting is open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, firstserved basis. Cost of admission and lunch is $10.50. Doors open at 11 a.m. The presentation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Due to a change in schedule, Knowles has canceled his visit to Homer Head Start originally scheduled for Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m.

CIRCAC to hold committee meeting

The Environmental Monitoring Committee of the Cook Inlet Regional Citizens Advisory Council will meet in Kenai on Thursday. The public is invited.
