Davey Hamilton is trying to drive in all four Copper World Classic races this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.

''Physically and mentally, I'm prepared,'' said the Indy Racing League driver. ''Mentally, I'm a race car driver and always ready to race. Physically, I'll have my nutritionist/strength coach, Jim Weathers, with me for massage and to watch my diet.''

Hamilton will open the IRL season in the Pennzoil Copper World 200, and also will try to qualify for events in the Supermodified Racing League, the Coors Light Silver Bullet Series and the WorldCom National/Western Midget Car Series.

''I've got a lot of experience in all those cars,'' Hamilton said. ''I'll just take one car at a time. ... I think I've got a realistic chance to win all four races.''
