Harpist will wrap up winter series

In the final performance of the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra's Winter Recital Series, harpist JulieAnn Smith will perform at the residence of Jim and Nedra Evenson on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The performance is a fund-raiser to support the KPO Summer String Festival.

Only 25 tickets will be sold for the concert. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at either Gallery 25 in Kenai or NorthCountry Fair in Soldotna.

Art show entry deadline Wednesday

The Pratt Museum is soliciting entries for its Juried Art Show taking place from June 16 through Aug. 22. Preliminary jurying will be from 35 mm slides only. Each artist may submit up to four entries. Works of all media will be accepted and only works previously not shown will be accepted. Slide entries must be received by the Pratt Museum no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday. Entries must be accompanied by an artist entry form, along with a $15 entry fee. Native artworks sought
