ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Three men were injured Thursday in a midtown shooting involving at least three guns, Anchorage police said.

Witnesses told police that as many as 15 men began fighting at East Chester Park across the street from a church about 3:15 p.m., KTUU TV reported. At least 24 shots were fired during the melee.

The three injured men were identified as Juan Gomez, 25, who was shot in the groin; Angel Tejada, 21, who was shot in the arms; and his brother Alex Tejada, 19, who was shot in the stomach. The three were treated at local hospitals and were expected to live.

Police were questioning five people about the shooting, according to KTUU. It was unclear what sparked the argument.
