FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A 72-year-old Delta Junction man faces charges he sexually assaulted a young girl living in his home.

Richard C. Hodges Sr. pleaded innocent Friday to accusations he sexually abused a girl under the age of 13 several times between May 1, 1999, and May 31, 2001.

According to a criminal complaint, Alaska State Troopers were told last month that the girl said Hodges had touched her at his Delta Junction residence on numerous occasions while she lived with him.

Hodges admitted to a trooper he touched the girl on several occasions in May 2001, the complaint says.

Hodges was indicted Thursday on one count of first-degree and three counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Also indicted Thursday on sexual assault charges was Gabriel R. McQuestion, 49, of Fairbanks.

McQuestion is charged with pawing a girl, who was 17 years old at the time, without her consent Aug. 19, 2002.
