KETCHIKAN (AP) -- A 46-year-old man faces charges of attempted murder after an incident Friday in which he tried to fire a rifle at another man after a dispute over tobacco, according to Ketchikan police.
William M. Marshall tried three times to shoot the 43-year-old victim, police said, then used the gun as a club to beat his victim just before noon on Friday.
