Adams, Shockley wed in Kenai

Veronica Christy Adams and Manuel Shockley were married Sept. 30, 2002, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kenai.

Pastor Brad Traxler officiated the ceremony. The pianist was Charlene O'Brien.

The bride is the daughter of Cheryl Adams and Jeff Ovbre-Adams of Wishek, N.D., and Stanley Adams and Ruth Adams of Kenai. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Mary Ellen Warrington of Kenai, Doris Adams of Reeds Spring, Mo., and Richard and Shirley Ovbre of San Antonio.

The groom is the son of Burford and Gloria Shockley of Kasilof.

The maids of honor were Krista and Mandy Altman of Sterling. The best man was Brandon Chaffee of Kasilof.

Rebecca Hernandez and James Van Raden of Kasilof were the guest book attendants.

The greeters were Dillon Kimple of Kenai and Jimmie Altman of Sterling. The couple chose "From This Moment On" and "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" for their songs.
