Congratulations to eighth-grader Tom Werth, who qualified in the top 100 geographers in the state. He will represent the school at the Alaska State National Geographic Geography Bee in Anchorage.

Students in grades one through eight are researching a famous historical figures in preparation for the Living Museum. Each student will design a costume to represent the character and prepare a speech telling about the character's life and accomplishments.

The seventh- and eighth-graders will help with Spring Break Day on March 23. Kids from age 3 years through sixth grade are invited. Some of the planned activities are crafts, games and singing centered around the theme "The True Meaning of Easter." Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In Christlight, the children are focusing on the suffering Christ endured.
