The life skill for the week is perseverance — to keep at it.

Students raised $546.50 in the Coins for Sharing fund-raiser. The Red Cross will use this to help the tsunami victims. The school thanks contributors.

The Fun Fest has been postponed until a later date due to principal interviews tonight at 6.

Report cards will be sent home Friday.

The first graders made telephones in science last week and are practicing using money in math.

Thanks to Courtney Stroh, Ashley Thornton, Aja Halder, Chance Allen and Hanah Hoff for their letter asking for grant money for Artist In Schools. Their letter won the grant award.

Lost and found is overflowing. Check the tables by the library and the area by the front doors.
