Longtime Alaska resident Mollie M. Deaver died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna. She was 93.
Memorial services will be held in Tampa, Fla., at a later date.
Mrs. Deaver was born Feb. 19, 1907, in North Carolina to Worash and Alice (Meddlen) Morrow. She was a homemaker most of her life.
She moved to Alaska in 1978 and made her home in Anchorage. She moved to Soldotna in 1990 and resided at Heritage Place.
Her son said, "she was a great mom and will be missed."
Mrs. Deaver was preceded in death by her husband and sons Tracy, Bleecher, Austin, Bill, Joseph and Alfred.
She is survived by her son Tommy White of Port Angeles, Wash.; grandchildren, Ryal, Austin Jr., Pam, Joy, Tracie and Rhonda and eight great-grandchildren.
