ANCHORAGE (AP) An 85-year-old Sutton man was found dead along the Glenn Highway on Saturday and Alaska State troopers say he may have been killed by falling rock.

Leon G. Schober was found near Mile 54.5.

Troopers said Schober was found at about 3:30 p.m. at the base of a rock slide where he apparently had been collecting rocks. Troopers attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency medical workers continued medical care.

Schober was transported to Valley Hospital and declared dead at 4:50 p.m.
