Mr. Daniels' class will culminate its investigation into Newton's Laws of Motion by constructing and launching rockets this week. In order to further their investigation, students will use various motors, calculating the apogee of the rockets and comparing the results.

Family and friends are invited to attend the dance performance at 4 p.m. today. The girls have worked hard and are eager to show what they have learned. Dance is an after-school cocurricular activity. Dance class began Jan. 12, and practices were held twice a week. The girls learned basic ballet, a few tap steps and a jazz dance.

Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Heath's classes enjoyed a trip to Anchorage. They watched a Japanese storyteller at the Performing Arts Center and had a fun afternoon at H2Oasis.
