Entire community plays part in success of 'The Music Man'

On behalf of the Kenai Performers Inc. and Twin Cities Production Inc., we would like to take this opportunity to thank our major sponsors, KeyBank National Association for the gala desserts, National Bank of Alaska/Wells Fargo for the printing costs of our playbill cover and Lynden Transport for freight costs to ship costumes.

Many thanks to our volunteers, donors and advertisers who contributed to the huge success of our recent production, "The Music Man."

Special thanks go to Carol Ford, our director, for her artistic vision and ability to bring so many talented people together to create a quality performance; to our musical director, Tammy Vollom-Matturro, who as an outstanding orchestra conductor and choir instructor was so inspirational to all; to our choreographer, Rick Langley, for the dance instruction that brought great spirit to our songs; to our costume director, Sharon Wik, for organizing an endless stream of sewing projects and a great group of seamstresses to meet clothing demands; to Pat Lytle and Kay Lytle for the endless hours with scenery painting and design plus creation of the Music Man hat for our poster and playbill covers; to Rita Eddy for her artistic painting and the playbill layout; and to our ticket vendors, Charlotte's Restaurant, Halcyon Spalon, Kenai Merit Inn, Malston's, Music Box, River City Books, Sweeney's Clothing and Zumwalt Music.

A big thank you to the cast, vocalists, dancers and orchestra who spent months of diligent training and practice to make this spectacular production. Thank you to our technical staff, Jim Steffy, Tim Elder, Paul Wright and Josh Silba, whose expertise made us look and sound our best.

We have great appreciation for the Peninsula Clarion whose press coverage enticed the public to come and enjoy this performance.

Lastly, thanks to the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center, which allowed our 100-plus cast and crew to enjoy their hospitality for our party after the show was over.

This performance was definitely another community effort! Thank you one and all.
