1 (18.5-ounce) box white cake mix, baked according to package
directions for 24 cupcakes
1 (15-ouce) can ready-made white frosting (or homemade; recipe
Green food coloring
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
Jelly beans or pastel-colored candy-coated chocolates
When cupcakes are cool, frost.
Bend pipe cleaners into the sides of each cupcake to form basket "handles." Set aside.
Place coconut in a small mixing bowl. Add a drop of green food coloring and mix to tint coconut, adding more coloring as desired. (Add coloring sparingly, as a little goes a long way.)
Place a spoonful of the coconut "grass" to the top of each cupcake. Place a few jelly beans or candy-coated chocolates on top of the coconut. Decorate pipe cleaners with a piece of bow-tied ribbon.
