Nadia K. Oskolkoff died in her sleep Sunday, March 9, 2003, in Kodiak. She was 91.
Funeral services were held in Ninilchik on March 14 with His Grace Bishop Nikolai officiating, assisted by Archpriest Macarius Targonsky and Archpriest Simeon Oskolkoff, Mrs. Oskolkoff's oldest son. Internment was in the Orthodox Parish Cemetery.
Mrs. Oskolkoff was born in Ninilchik on Oct. 8, 1911.
Mrs. Oskolkoff was preceded her in death by her husband, Simeon Oskolkoff Sr., and children, Effie, Marie and Peter.
She is survived by her sister, Mae Demidoff of Ninilchik; children, Archpriest Simeon Oskolkoff of Anchorage, Selma Leman of Pittsburgh, Alex Oskolkoff of Anchorage, Louise Sambo of Anchorage and Paul Oskolkoff of Homer; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
