Philip Chapman III and Alicia A. Henderson
Alicia A. Henderson of Kenai and Philip F. Chapman lll of Win-throp, Maine, were married Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch in Auburn, Maine.
The bride is the daughter of Ernest A. Henderson of Kenai and Kathleen Tappan of Winthrop. She is a graduate of Kenai Central High School, received a bachelor's degree in biology from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., and a master's degree in teaching and learning from the University of Southern Maine. She is employed at Leavitt Area High School in Turner, Maine.
The maid of honor was Sonja Mai. Rebecca Babkiewicz, Angela Chapman, sister of the groom, Amy Krug, J. Anna Jabbusch and Stephanie Pelkey were the bridesmaids. The flower girl was Taylor Silver of New Hampshire.
The groom is the son of Philip and Jeanette Chapman Jr. of Winthrop. He is a graduate of Winthrop High School and received a bachelor's degree in engineering and a Coast Guard license from Maine Maritime Academy. He is employed at the Greenville Steam Co. in Greenville, Maine.
Thomas James Meiser was the best man. Merton Blood, Geoffry Cobb, Eron Gray, Stephen Groves and Chad Hamlin were ushers. The ring bearer was Austin Barksdale of Florida.
The reception was held at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch. The couple went to Saint Lucia for a honeymoon and currently lives in Greenville.
