City helps keep kids moving

Kenai Middle School and its Shinny Hockey Club would like to thank Rick Koch, Bob Frates, Dave Essert and the city of Kenai for their continued support and use of the skating rink.

Each year during the dark of winter, Kenai Middle School offers many unique club opportunities to its students. For six Fridays during the third quarter, students are able to choose from a menu of club offerings. The menu includes hockey, rock wall climbing, arts and crafts, robotics and dodgeball, with many other interesting offerings.

Kenai Middle also would like to thank Doug and Kelli Brewer of Alaska West Air and all the other parents who helped transport kids to the rink.
