Chamber luncheon today

The Kenai Chamber of Commerce luncheon is today at noon at the Old Town Village Restaurant. The speaker at the luncheon is Anne Adasiak-Andrew, representing the Alaska Travel Industry Association.

KDLL board meeting slated

KDLL's monthly board meeting will take place Thursday at the KDLL studio in the Economic Development District Building north of Kenai. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

Church to hold sale

The New Life Christian Fellowship of Kasilof will hold a garage sale at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday at Mile 75 Kalifornsky Beach Road.

Soldotna Day Aglow slated

The Soldotna Day Aglow will hold a presentation by Patty Mullins on how God can heal and restore a broken marriage. The presentation will be Saturday at the Peninsula Steakhouse from 10-11:30 a.m.

KBEA scholarship applications available

The Kenai Borough Employees Association scholarship committee is accepting applications for four scholarships of $500 each. The scholarships are available to all 2001 graduates of the Kenai Peninsula Borough, including public, private and home-schooled individuals.

Boys and Girls Club offers class

The Boys and Girls Club in Kenai is currently holding a sign-up for the music and movement class for 3- to 5-year-old boys and girls. The class will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning April 3 with instructor Lauralee Smart.

The class will combine dance, movement and tumbling. The cost is $56, which includes a $10 Boys and Girls Club junior membership and a $46 activity fee. Scholarship applications are available upon requests.

Marine guide offered to boat owners

The Marine Trades Committee of the Homer Chamber of Commerce is offering a free Boat Owners Guide to Homer. The guide is filled with information for boat owners. The features include a comprehensive list of Homer's ports, harbor facilities, services, rules, regulations, boating safety tips and marine-related numbers.
