Kenai resident Raymond D. Bannach died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at his home in Kenai. He was 50.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nikiski Church of Christ. Pastor James Harris will officiate.
Mr. Bannach was born Oct. 20, 1952, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He moved to Kenai in 1991.
He was a member of the church and enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola items and drawing.
"He was loved and will be missed by those who knew him well," his family said.
"He was crazy and cool and I loved him a lot," said his granddaughter, Rebecca.
Mr. Bannach was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bannach and Lillian Smith.
He is survived by his sons, Matthew J. Bannach and Michael D. Bannach, both of Kenai, David Dean and his wife, Ricia, of Nikiski, and Jacob Dean of Michigan; daughter, Sarah Johnson and her husband, Donald, of Kenai; grandchildren, Rebecca Johnson, Kory DuPerrone, Echo Thiele, JeNeal DuPerrone and Ash Lee DuPerrone, all of Kenai, and Thomas and Nathaniel Cadle and Amanda, Zechariah and Benjamin Dean, all of Nikiski; brother, Thomas Bannach of Holland, Mich.; and nieces and nephews, all of Michigan.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
