Dubber, Barnett plan to be married

Anne Lee Holle Dubber and Shad Ben-jamin Barnett of Anchorage have announced their plans to marry Sunday, June 6, 2004, in an afternoon ceremony at Solid Rock Bible Camp Chapel in Soldotna. Pastor Paul Kupferschmid of the Kasilof Community Church will officiate.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David Horne and Debra Holle. She graduated from Skyview High School in 1997. She got a bachelor's degree in Russian from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2001 and her teaching certification from UAA in 2003. She teaches seventh-grade English as a second language at Clark Middle School in Anchorage.

The future groom is the son of Kenn and Kathleen Barnett of Anchorage. He graduated from Service High School in Anchorage in 1993 and was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1993 through 1997.

He trained with and assisted in the training of pararescue candidates from 1997 to 2000 and was a paramedic school graduate in 2004. He is applying for a position with the Anchorage Fire Department.

The couple plans to have a reception at Solid Rock Bible Camp's dining hall and the groom is planning a surprise honeymoon for the bride. The couple plans to buy a house in Anchorage.
