Kenai resident Leah Stanford recently was awarded the Outstanding Direct Service Professional Award for alcohol and substance abuse in Alaska.
Stanford is a chemical dependency clinical supervisor at Central Peninsula General Hospital.
She will be presented with the award at the Full Lives Conference in Anchorage on April 21 and 22. As part of her award, she will receive an all-expense paid trip to an approved work-related conference of her choice anywhere in the United States.
