Flyball seminar slated

The Peninsula Dog Obedience Group will sponsor the first Flyball seminar on the Kenai Peninsula from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 16 at the PenDOG facility on Kalifornsky Beach Road in Soldotna. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch; beverages will be provided. No dogs, please.

The cost is $30 in advance or $40 at the door. For more information or to register, call 262-6846.

Lacrosse club forming

The Central Peninsula Lacrosse Club is seeking adult volunteers with experience in playing, coaching or officiating lacrosse. For more information,call Scott Cunningham at 252-1592.

Recycling fund-raiser continues

The Kenai Peninsula Soccer Club is accepting empty laser and ink jet cartridges and digital cell phones. The proceeds will help support the club's activities.

DDF team to perform

The state champion Nikiski Drama, Debate, and Forensics team will hold a performance titled "Encore, Encore!" at 7 p.m. April 1 and 2. The cost is $5 at the door.
