Paul Russell Walluk
Kenai resident Paul Russell Walluk died March 8, 2006, in an automobile accident. He was 8.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 24, at Christ Lutheran Church in Soldotna. A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the church. The Rev. Vance Wonser of Kenai Bible Church will officiate. Burial will follow the funeral service at Kenai City Cemetery. A reception will follow at Tyotkas, formerly the Old Town Restaurant in Kenai.
Paul was born Dec. 14, 1997, in Soldotna. He was a second-grader at Sears Elementary School in Kenai and attended Kenai Bible Church and the Alaska Native Lutheran Church in Anchorage.
Paul enjoyed participating in the Junior Native Youth Olympics, soccer, basketball, fishing, snowmachining, sledding and playing computer games.
“Paul was with us for such a short time, but he leaves us with a lifetime of sweet memories. Our hearts are broken,” his family said.
Paul was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul Wolf and Janet Hubbard.
He is survived by his father, Scott Walluk of Anchorage; mother and companion, Jennifer Showalter and Jason Yeoman of Kenai; sisters, Nadia Walluk, Haven Walluk, Amber Oseuk, Gracie Oseuk, Marie Chaffin and Alexis Lageson, all of Kenai; brothers, Melvin Juliussen Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., and Brian Alexander Jr. of Soldotna; grandparents, Jim and Mary Showalter of Sterling; great-grandmother, Famie Cochran of Portland, Ore.; aunts and uncles, James and Jen Showalter, Jacque and Tig Andrew and Rosemary and Sean Tower; and cousins, Farrell, Harlyn, Tigran and Nyche Andrew and Janet and Jacob Tower.

Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
