The public health nurse will be available at the Nikolaevsk school from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

Small business workshop offered this afternoon

Kenai Peninsula Economic Development District will host a seminar entitled "How to Start a Small Business," presented by Mark Gregory of the Small Business Development Center.

The workshop is today from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Economic Development District building, Mile 14.5 of the Kenai Spur Highway. The workshop is free and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.

Crohns and colitis meeting scheduled

The Crohns and Colitis Support Group will meet tonight at 6 p.m. in the Kenai Peninsula Borough Building, conference room A.

Fetal Alcohol Support Group meets Saturday

Support for fetal alcohol caregivers and the disabled will be available at the REACH Center on Poppy Lane in Soldotna Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

The survey for the Governor's Council on Disabilities will be provided.

CPR and first aid classes offered

A CPR class will be held Monday from 9 a.m. to noon and a basic first aid class will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The classes will be held at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture building, 40610 Kalifornsky Beach Road. Each class costs $35, or $65 for both.
